The Marcomar Apartments are a building of holiday apartments on the Marcolina estate in Alcossebre, 1.3 km from Las Fuentes beach and at the foot of the Serra d'Irta. They're let by Casa Azahar, the Alcossebre agency that manages apartments in more than twenty buildings in town.

Depending on the apartment, the terraces have sea or hill views. If that matters to you, ask when you book.
The pools
The building has an adult pool and a children's pool, with a sun-lounger area. They usually open from Easter to mid-November, a very long season that lets you enjoy them in spring and autumn too. Confirm the dates when you book.
With young children, having a children's pool at home transforms the holiday: beach in the morning, lunch and a nap, then the pool in the afternoon without getting in the car.
Parking and arrival
Marcomar has paid covered parking, handy if your car is loaded with car seats, buckets and spades. Keys are collected from the Casa Azahar office on Avenida Las Fuentes in Alcossebre.
The location, with kids
- Beach: Les Fonts is 1.3 km away and has lifeguards and a children's area. The Carregador (with an unbroken Blue Flag since 1987) and the Romana, a little further, are accessible.
- Nature: the Serra d'Irta begins north of town, with the lighthouse and Cala Blanca as your first outing. Ideas in coves and walks with kids.

- Peace and quiet: Marcolina is a residential estate, away from the bustle of the centre, which helps when it's time to get the little ones to sleep.
Before you book
- Marcomar isn't on the beachfront: if you want to walk to the sand with the children every day, bear the 1.3 km in mind.
